Our Gas/Liquid syringes have capacities from 50 µl to 100 ml and feature interchangeable glass barrels (so replacement barrels and plungers are available). They are available with either standard (fixed tension) plungers or with adjustable tension plungers. The adjustable tension plungers allow complete control of the syringe's pressure resistance. The only wetted materials in the Gas/Liquid syringes are Teflon®, borosilicate glass, and (only if a needle is used) stainless steel.

These syringes feature:

Highest Degree of Resistance to Chemical Attack. Only borosilicate glass and Teflon are exposed to the material in the syringe.
Flat Plunger Face Contacts Bottom of Glass Barrel. This displaces all of the fluid from the measuring chamber.
Interchangeable Barrels. The glass barrels of any nominal size can be interchanged with plungers of the same size. This allows you to purchase a replacement glass barrel should one become damaged.
Threaded Glass Tip. The removable needle syringes have a 1/4" x 28 tpi threaded tip. This allows for the quick and easy replacement of the needle (should it become clogged or bent) or for the attached of a variety of accessories.

A variety of accessories are available for the gas/liquid syringes to extend their versatility.

Adjustable tension plungers are preferred over the conventional plungers for gas handling. The adjustable tension plungers allow you to adjust the tension between the plunger and the glass barrel. Without a liquid the lubricate the seal, the movement of a conventional plunger may be overly stiff. The tension is simply adjusted by turning a knob at the end of the plunger.

The removable needle syringes are marked as series 19925. A variety of replacement needles are available for these syringes. These can be used to change the type of needle on the syringe or to replace a plugged or bent needle.

The fixed needle syringes are marked as series 19930. In these syringes the needles is permanently cemented into the syringe and it cannot be replaced.
