Molecular/Por Ultrafiltration Membranes are specifically designed to
provide precise molecular separations under the high pressure conditions
typically associated with laboratory ultrafiltration. The 2-layer
membrane consists of an upper cellulose ester (CE) membrane cast
on a porous substructure that provides support to withstand the applied
pressure (up to 70 psi/4.8 bar). While the membranous top layer
selectively passes the molecular species in solution, the bottom layer
does not interfere with the filtration characteristics. Molecular/Por Ultrafiltration
Membrane is available in flat-sheets and 3 disc sizes with
precise MWCO's ranging from 100 D -100 kD.
