Spectrum Molecular Separations, Inc. has an immediate need for an Assembler in our Houston, TX facility, located in the Greenspoint area near Rankin Road and North Freeway.
ASSEMBLER
Job Description:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling products by following written assembly instructions and work orders.
This includes cleaning glassware, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
The Assembler is also responsible for keeping an organized, clean, and safe assembly area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
Must be able to read and write English and follow written instructions.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb portable stairs to retrieve parts.
The tools used by the assembly lead include hand tools (screwdriver, wrench, pliers, etc.) and electric drill press.

Must be able to read and write in English and follow written instructions.

Vice President of Manufacturing Operations
As the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, you will direct, strategize, plan and execute the company's manufacturing operations including process improvement, quality improvement and employee relations. You will also establish, measure and evaluate specific performance objectives related to plant operations such as on time delivery, labor efficiencies, scrap rates, productivity, quality and safety. This position will also take part in implementing world class manufacturing practices such as lean manufacturing and managing material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will possess 10+ years experience in directing a manufacturing operation and driving improvement through lean manufacturing techniques. Proficiency with enterprise-integrated systems and databases and ability to exercise oversight of them (MRP, ERP or similar tools) required. Working knowledge of supply chain management, including materials management, production planning and strategic purchasing. Possess strong leadership experience and the demonstrated ability to develop direct reports and build a strong team. Bachelor’s of Science degree in a technical field required.
